Leadership Team
MSC’s core management team has a long history of shared successes and outstanding service that began over 15 years ago. Focused primarily on the federal sector, they remain committed to quality and to their clients. When the team made the decision to form MSC, the vision was to create an agile and responsive company where this work would continue to flourish.
Haley Esser, President and CEO, has over 25 years’ experience in government contracting, both as a federal employee and as a contractor. She has been a senior executive at both small and large government contracting companies, and has managed programs that generate over $100 million in annual revenue. Prior to joining the private sector, Haley managed contracts for the Federal Government totaling nearly $500 million. She brings a deep understanding of the nuances of government contracting and understands the needs of our government clients.
Joseph Tasto, MD, Executive Vice President and CFO, holds degrees in medicine and engineering. His dual experience provides valuable insight and perspective for identifying key issues and setting strategic direction for MSC. Joe has managed over $250 million in federal contracts and has been a Principal Investigator (PI) on numerous biomedical research grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Defense (DoD).
Anna Mahyera, Vice President and COO, brings substantial operational and management expertise supporting federal clients. With her business acumen and focus on the federal government sector, Anna played a pivotal role in MSC’s rapid growth. Anna provides leadership and focuses on human resources management, contracts administration, program management, and client relations.
